The health and wellbeing of our patrons, whānau and communities is our priority. Here is what you need to know ahead of your visit.

My Vaccine Pass (MVP)

Audiences are no longer required to present a My Vaccine Pass.

Contact Tracing/Record Keeping

Signing in is no longer required. We will continue to display a QR code at ASB Waterfront Theatre in you wish to sign in with the COVID-19 Tracer App for your own record keeping.

Mask Wearing/Face Coverings

Audiences are encouraged but no longer required to wear a face mask at the theatre.

Contactless Payment

Our box office, bar and coat check are no longer accepting cash, but will accept payment via Eftpos, Visa, Master Card and Debit cards.

Hand Sanitising

Please play your part in helping keep everyone safe by sanitising your hands at the on-site sanitiser stations prior to entry and where possible.

Enhanced Cleaning

We have enhanced cleaning regimes in place.

Feeling unwell?

We ask that you and your guests make a reasonable assessment of your health status before attending a performance. 

If you are feeling unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms, are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test or are subject to isolation requirements, we ask that you stay at home and do not enter our venue. We will be offering refunds to ticket holders if they are unable to attend due to this requirement.

What if I feel unwell while I’m at the venue?

If you (or a member of your group) start to feel unwell during an event, you should advise a member of the venue or Auckland Theatre Company staff and then leave the site immediately.

The event I purchased tickets for has been cancelled or postponed.

If we cancel an event due to COVID-19, you will be notified and given the following options:

  • Transfer to rescheduled dates (if available)
  • Transfer the value of your tickets as account credit valid for 24 months from the date it was created
  • Full refund
  • Donate part or all of the ticket value to Auckland Theatre Company

If we postpone an event due to COVID-19, we will advise you about the rescheduled date/s options. If the rescheduled date/s are not suitable for you to attend, you will offered a refund or option to donate.
